Great but Small

I researched helmets for some time before I finally chose this one. It's features and styling make it a fantastic buy. Only be weary of the sizing. G-Max helmets, in my opinion, apparently run small. My head is 26" in circumference and the GM54S in XXXL would go over my head with the visor open, but wouldn't close due to me having a chin. Don't get me wrong, when not trying to cram it over my planetary cranium it looked awesome. Lots and lots of vents! The little flashing LED light on the back was brilliant! Unfortunately though, despite being awesome I had to return it to the vendor because I simply couldn't wear it.

DONT PASS THIS UP!

This Helmet is by far the most comfortable I have tried on. The airflow is solid and is incredibly comfortable. The inner "Maverick" visor is incrediblly useful and I love it far more than sunglasses. I wear glasses so the ease of adjustment from Sunny to shady areas is so quick and easy it gives you great visibility when you need it. The light on the back is a great saftey feature. People are always pointing it out is is very visible to drivers. On size. My head measures an XL but I got the 3XL and am glad I did. IF you can find a dealer that sells gmax helmets try it on. I thought the most Id go was 2Xl but it put some pressure on the back of my head that would go from slight to very uncomfortable on long rides. In addition the mesh protector under the chin is incredible useful to deflect bugs. So well thought out. Great deal Great protection.
