    5Scorpion EXO-700 Neon Yellow Helmet

    I have two of these helmets, one for me and one for a passenger. They are excellent helmets. Fit and quality are top notch. The neon color really shines and is VERY visible to others, I am always getting comments on how well I can be seen. The fog free shields work great also. I also had no problem installing a headset in these helmets. I have been using mine since last fall and I ride everyday, its has held up very well. I like mine so well, that after using mine for a few months I picked up another one for a passenger. I do suggest ordering one size larger than normal. I normally wear a XL and had to order a XXL.

    3Needs a dark shield

    I've owned probably a dozen of these helmets. I've had 2 crashes (I road race) where the helmet hit hard, one even shattered the shell all the way around to the chin bar from an impact on the back! I walked away from all only slightly rattled and that was cleared up in minutes. Probably as much from the earth-sky tumble as much as anything!

    So, they are great helmets. Good fit an finish, quality crash protection, I like them.

    The shields totally suck. Even the "dark smoke" is barely tinted, and if you ride in the full sun of Texas summer your eyes will itch and burn at the end of the day after wearing one of these. The shields simply do not block enough of the light or UV (not sure which) to be all-day comfortable.

    So, I rate what should be a 5-star helmet with just 3. The shield selection really is a major issue with these helmets.

    5Great Helmet, but Erico doesn't really have them!!!!!!

    I wore one of these helmets for a couple years. I ride very long rides, sometimes as much a 1000 miles in a day. It really is all day comfortable.

    Visors can be changed in seconds with the excellent Scorpion system.

    People can see this helmet literally a mile away (I've had friends test this). I'm convinced the neon green color is a huge safety advantage.

    Recently I had a minor get off. The helmet got scrapped up a bit and the visor mount got damaged.

    For some stupid reason Scorpion isn't making any Neon Green full face helmets, so I ordered on here from Erico Motorsports.

    They were (and still are) showing seven in stock. After a week Erico canceled the order because Erico is out of stock, even though they still are offering them for sale. That sucks Erico.

    If you find one of these buy it!!!!! But not from Erico.
