4Core Zip Modular Helmet
By Tazlvr
I love the look of the helmet, I needed a large from what the measurements indicated and that's what I received, however, it must run on the smaller size of Large. It's really too tight on my head and make my head hurt after a while. I was looking forward to this helmet as I've never owned one that the helmet's chin bar unlocks with a single push on the release button. That was my initial reason for getting this. It also offers the air intake valves on the chin and the top of the helmet and on the rear for ventilation and cooling, which is a plus. The padding inside is very thick and the helmet does meet DOT requirements. Overall it's a great helmet but I think the best way to judge whether a helmet meets your specific needs and fits like it should is to go to an actual store where you would be able to try it on and make sure it fits properly.

3Sizing is off
By Colorado Hermit
According to the measuring instructions to find what size you need I needed a large. It says if the circumference of your head is between 23 1/4" to 24" inches you need a large. and 24 1/4" to 25" inches you need a XL. OK, my head measures 23 3/4" inches so this helmet should fit me. It doesn't. First, it sits up too high like it has about an inch too much padding in the top but it has hardly anything for padding in the top. The worst fit is the width at the front of me ears. It's so tight, its very painfully tight on the joint of my jaws. It puts so much pressure in the area in front of my ears and down to my lower jaw its too painful to leave it on for any length of time. It was bad enough that it gave me a bad headache and there is no way that I would be able to leave it on for more than half a minute, and I doubt I could stand it for that long. It felt like I had my head in one of those mid-evil torture devices like a big bench vice that they keep screwing down tighte r and tighter till it crushes your head like a melon or giant walnut.
As for its functions. The full face flip up is really nice and the built in vents for air intake in the front and out flow in the back should help keep your head cooler when riding in the summer time. I've always wanted a helmet like this one and it really bums me out that its so far undersize. I've thought about getting something like a soccer ball that I can let the air out of, stick it in the helmet and use my air compressor to pump it up and force it out a little wider where its so tight on my jaws and ears. Maybe if I leave it like that long enough it will reshape it enough that I can use it.
What it comes down to is ordering a helmet online and expecting it to fit you properly is like trying to order a pair of shoes online. Both of those items are something that you really need to be able to try on for fit and comfort before you buy them. And that's something that just cant be done when ord ering those items online. There are many things that can be ordered online without having that personal touch to check for size, feel, and fit. But then there are many things that you just cant get the right fit ordering it from a picture online. This is one of them.
Overall I can recommend this helmet, if you buy it from a store where you can try on several of them and find the one that fits you comfortably. However, I cant recommend ordering one this way online. Chances are you will not get one that fits you properly &/or comfortably.

5Looks great
By traderje
This helmet looks great. The finish is fantastic. It fits very tight at first but the cushion areas give with time. It has two air ventilation tabs on top and one on the back... but if you live in a hot area there are never enough of these. Opening these also relieves some of the very strong echo inside but not entirely. The visor unit roates easily once you get the hang of it. I had no problem with the action of any of the parts. It feels like a reasonably well made helmet to me.

One additional note I have is that there are so many warnings about the helmet angle, strap adjustments, and other matters in the very small instruction booklet that I wish there were more detailed descriptions of the proper use. When I last rode regularly, helmets were way simpler affairs.
