Finally a good fitting old school helmet!

I have been looking for a DOT open face helmet that has that vintage look without the "mushroom" effect. Many helmets say they don't give you that look, but this one actually doesn't. I tried the Bell 500, Nolan, Sparx, Biltwell and a few others, but this Rockhard sat the closest to my head. The flaking is nice, but most companies can get that right. The stitching on the inside is dope. Period. The red on black is just fantastic. The lining is soft and comfortable and doesn't catch my hair, but the inside shell STINKS!! I have no idea what kind of cancer causing glue they are using but it stinks to high heaven. I have used extra strength Febreze a couple times now and it's not putting a dent in the funk. I have worn it in 90+ degree heat and I can smell it in my hair after I take it off.
Other than that, it's a great helmet. It doesn't ride up or feel too heavy or light weight when I'm over 55 mph. There is the perfect gap between the cheek pad and the other padd ing for sunglasses to slide through and sit. No dents left on the side of the face when you take the helmet off.
Overall I would recommend this helmet to anyone, just be prepared to deal with the smell.
