Great Helmet!

I didn't have high expectations when I ordered this helmet, but I am in LOVE! This thing fits perfect and the dual visor is awesome! I ride most of the time with the clear visor up and the inner sun visor down (I also wear glasses)for the best ventilation without eye irritation. Once you break 50 though, it's time for the clear visor to come down unless you enjoy Intense whistling noises :)

The modular part of this helmet MAY be it's weak point. It's sounds a little creaky when opening but it's great for putting on glasses or your helmet while talking to someone. The structural strength is suspect on the modular mouth piece but all modulars have this problem. I think that's why they can't get Snell approval. Overall I think you get slightly better protection than a 3/4 helmet but not much.

When the visor is closed the helmet blocks out most of the noise on my FZ6 with Scorpion exhaust. But I'm slightly def from working on Helicopters in the Na vy so results may vary. The two vent intakes (top and mouth piece) are a joke so don't think for a minute your going to have some hi-tech cooling going on. It's a hundred dollar helmet, and for a hundred bucks I got more than I was expecting so I am very pleased.

Helmet for fun in the sun

I waited a long time for this helmet to become available and it was everything I was looking for. It is modular, so on those hot days when you want a cool drink, you can raise the entire helmet face up without removing from your head. Then on the sunny days, it has a flip down visor which does an excellent job of filtering the sun's rays. I ordered a large. I was probably between a medium and large. It is slightly too large, but I am looking for a skull cap or something similar to tighten it up a bit. It has a vent on the top and at the chin which help with the cooling effect. It is a little bulky, so may not fit comfortably in your current carrying device. I would highly recommend this helmet. If you can find a modular helmet locally, try it on for fit before ordering online.

Good Helmet, Great Price

I've owned some Hawk, Bell, HJC helmets before and have a few HJC/Bell helmets that i use regularly. Bought this one because I had a large or XL modular dual visor helmet but it was to big. My wife wears a medium HJC helmet and I tried hers on and it was a good fit so I figured I'd try a medium helmet. This one fits well, very little wind noise (which is great for modular) only had for a few days so the modular part works perfectly, the second inner shaded visor is PERFECT so I don't need to wear shades or worry about that and if It gets hot (I'm in TX) I can lift up the face and just put the inner visor down and I get nice wind on my face. The cushions still inclose my inner ear so It blocks out a lot of noise even with the front face up.

I ordered this for 2-day shipping on a Wednesday didn' t get it until Monday :( But that's not the helmets fault
The ventilation is not the best, but it's modular so you can just flip the front face up and it works perfect.
