Very Satisfied

Ordered this helmet because I liked the style of the forehead visor the drop down shades, the cut of the helmet the way it drops down in the back and the straps around the ear looked comfortable. After reading the reviews I also liked that customers thought the helmet had less of the mushroom head compared to other half helmets. Ordered this helmet through Amazon that actually came from BikerHiway. I didn't initially get an email from either company confirming the order so I was a bit concerned the order didn't go through. I called BikerHiway and they were able to confirm the order from the order # I provided. I ordered on Wednesday afternoon, the estimated delivery date was the next Tuesday. After reviewing the tracking # for the 1st time the estimated delivery was the following Friday(9 days). The next day it said the next Tuesday(original estimate). The next day it said the next Wednesday. So then Saturday morning I was ecstatic when I checked and it said it was on the truck out for delivery. Soo I recieved it 3 days after I ordered it! AWESOME! That's with standard shipping. Opening the box I was somewhat concerned that the rubber trim under the padding in the forehead area was detached and appeared the holes and plugs didn't match. After playing with it I was able to tuck it into the lip and snap it in and it was a good fit so it was perfectly fine. I have to say I was impressed with the flat finish, the quality and the overall fit, look and comfort. I imeaditely took it out for a test ride. 5 STARS!!! Impressive combination of looks, price, fit, finish, comfort and style. Great job Outlaw, Amazon and BikerHiway!. Thank you!

Good Helment for the Price.

So, I wanted a DOT certified half helmet with the built-in visor, but I didn't want to spend a an arm and a leg to get one. This helmet looked like it fit the bill so I ordered one.

Aside, I actually ordered the wrong size but luckily the customer service for this product was excellent and was able to change my purchase moments before the item shipped without any additional hassle.

I got the helmet and was immediately impressed with the initial quality. Upon inspecting the visor I became just a tad disappointed. Unlike the rest of the helmet (straps, padding, exterior) it seemed like the weakest part. You can pull down the visor via a tab located near the bill of the helmet. When you pull down the visor itself there isn't a secure or sound stopping point, it just sort of starts to bend. I guess I expected a mechanism that clicked it into and out of place. The tint also doesn't appear to be that impressive and the plastic isn't all that thick. That b eing said, maybe I'm being too critical. The price of the helmet is fair and I've been riding with it for several weeks now without incident. If you don't want to spend a ton and you're interested in a DOT half helmet with the visor feature than I still recommend this item. I would give it 5 starts if the visor were just a tad better.
