Your head will love it. . . .

Ask yourself this question: If (bad as it is to think about it) I crash, do I want a 5 pound weight on the end of my neck flopping around, or a 3 pound weight?

You want to buy this helmet for only three reasons: 1) The weight, 2) It looks cool (seriously, who doesn't think carbon fiber looks cool?), 3) The optional transitions visor puts you on top of the "my helmet is cooler than yours" totem pole.

You *don't* want to buy this helmet if: : 1) You can't live without the cushy interior of your Arai; this is kind of sparse in the padding and liner, 2) You miss the quietness of your Schuberth; this is louder than my Shoei by a few decibels, 3) You hate people asking you "where'd you get that?", 4) You have a big nose; seriously, this is a more "round" helmet and those with large protuberances will find that it may actuallly touch the end of your nose when riding.

All in all, I love the looks, the safety rating, and the features. It does have some drawbacks, so this is not for everyone.

I own an Arai as well...this helmet measures up although the solfx visor is not very easy to come by. I found someone in Texas that had a few. Sweet hood. highly recomend...Very worth the money
